"New Finds"

     I found a couple of nice frames that I'm going to repurpose into chalkboards for my vendor space at "Sweet Repeats"and I found this blue Le Creuset pot. It's the perfect blue, but can anyone tell me what's up with the top?

     Is that the way it's suppose to be? I don't have a clue, so if I disregard the top I 'll keep the bottom, but I'll wait to hear from you before making a final decision.
