"Just My Imagination"

     What if you could take up residency in a favorite shop? How long? I'm not sure because it's just pure fantasy anyway. However crazy it sounds my choices aren't difficult at all. Oh no I can't just make one choice...how about two? Drum rolls please. One of my choices is "Avec Moi Decor" in Los Olivos. I first met Michele the proprietress of this beautiful shop in November 2011 when she graciously agreed to an interview with me.

     Since my initial visit Michele has relocated to a stunning building right in the center of town. It's been awhile, but I just recently took a drive for a bite to eat at Paninos...and peek inside to see what had changed. Absolutely nothing...just still breath taking and stunning finds at every turn.

     I hope you'll return for my other choice...

"Lorraine"

     I certainly love all the pieces that I found over the weekend... and I appreciate the help of my new model displaying them. The black chandelier will look great any any room of the house and the oval shaped soup tureen is just gorgeous. I'm always drawn to the lithograph and illustrations of these baptismal certificates and of course the older the more beautiful. So I'll either repaint the current frame or repurpose with another one and if it doesn't work out it's okay because I acquired it for pennies...literally!

     I was quite happy to jump into my car for a trip to a few of my favorite thrift stores and even more thrilled that I found these....more dishes! Do I need them No....but they coordinate perfectly with all the others.
