How do you transform them to a chalkboard?? that sounds wonderful. I took my gold brassy look frames and put a touch of black on them to look antiqued. It just made a nice difference.
I purchase chalkboard paint at my local hardware store Home Depot or depending on the canvas of the picture (if it's not too rough you can paint over it or better yet you can purchase sheets of chalkboard...cut to size and put inside frame.
So pretty. I need to come visit you so you can take me to these fun places with great pieces!
Heather...nothing would thrill me more and trust me the pleasure would be all mine!
Love that first fram so perfectly grand, your black boards will look great in them.XxDore
Thanks Dore...I had my eye on that frame because it's very ornate for a chalkboard. I'll be posting pictures of the results this weekend. Rita
Great finds. I love all the detail they each have.
Thanks Robin. I will be doing an "after" posting this weekend and to be perfectly honest I just can't get enough of these frames. And I especially love it when I can get them for $10.00. Hope you can come back to see what they look like...totally different!Rita
Love them all!! My favorite is definitely the scrolled one though, it will make a fantastic chalkboard!!Have a beautiful weekend my friend!Sincerely,Melinda
