"Fabulous Frames...A Lovely Day"

     Just a quick post to show you the beautiful gold frames that I found yesterday while spending "A Lovely Day" with my two stylish friends.

     These always sell very quickly and I love transforming them into chalkboards and inspiration boards. Until next time happy collecting, thrifting and repurposing.

    How do you transform them to a chalkboard?? that sounds wonderful. I took my gold brassy look frames and put a touch of black on them to look antiqued. It just made a nice difference.

    I purchase chalkboard paint at my local hardware store Home Depot or depending on the canvas of the picture (if it's not too rough you can paint over it or better yet you can purchase sheets of chalkboard...cut to size and put inside frame.

    Thanks Dore...I had my eye on that frame because it's very ornate for a chalkboard. I'll be posting pictures of the results this weekend.

    Thanks Robin. I will be doing an "after" posting this weekend and to be perfectly honest I just can't get enough of these frames. And I especially love it when I can get them for $10.00. Hope you can come back to see what they look like...totally different!
