The Blue Farmhouse

Well we are finally settling into our new home and it feels great living in this big, beautiful, open and light filled space. Some of the features are vaulted ceilings, french doors, plantation shutters, hardwood floors, tile floors, large wrap around outdoor entertaining spaces, front porch and even a private seating veranda off the master bedroom.

Luckily there's a large inventory to choose from due to the years of collecting and thrifting. However, on the flip side I haven't felt the urge to "hunt" except for needing a painting to hang on a empty wall space. But not just any old painting...something that I could live with forever and ever and I found it at a Home Goods store. Of course, I fell in love with the pale blue colors with a brush of Provence yellow which makes this painting very versatile.

So, I'm off to paint the two 70's style plastic flower wall medallions white with hopes of finding the perfect place for them in this new home. I appreciate each one who pauses to read or leave a comment with hopes that you find inspiration every time.

Until next time happy thrifting, collecting and decorating new spaces in your home...
