"Restoration"

     Restoration!?! Only this time it wasn't a found piece of furniture, chandelier or ornamental mirror but it was me...yes I was just completely exhausted and needing something to restore my spirit. So I jump into my car with my favorite person of all (my husband) and off for a gorgeous drive through the Santa Ynez Valley (just minutes from home) to take in some favorite spots to eat, talk and window shop.

     And I must admit time seems to stand still here...and it's hard to leave but I do feel rejuvenated.  So until next time happy collecting, thrifting and finding yourself again...Restored.

"Reminiscing"

     Oh I remember this show very well....it was definitely a trip of a lifetime. The setting in Battle Ground, Washington was absolutely picturesque, with so many beautiful items to choose from and the food was "off the chain".

     However, the highlight of this trip was a chance meeting with (Jerome) one of The Barn House Boys. I can promise you that I haven't forgotten this experience and you can read more about it here.
